Not until 2016, Q1 I believe. Keep seeing speculation on the price, first of all it was £32k, now a lot of mags are saying it'll be sub 30, possibly about 28. Still on the fence, it might see me go for a white mk2 though, but I don't even really need a car these days.

There is no 3 Dr production line for the whole range, that's why its not a 3 dr, they won't build a separate line for a low volume model. They said this all along when the mk3 focus was launched

the 5 door rs will open up the company car market to ford ,as from what i remember most company car schemes dont allow 3dr cars .

just like ford intended with the mighty saff,

remember its the accountants that run car companys now ,with engineers just being a necessary evil

I actually like everything about this car, its one of the only pre production vehicles i've actually been interested in. If the finances were available i wouldn't think twice i'd snap one up.

One thing i'd like to see if a mixed variation of colours, i liked the battleship grey version on the the launch vid, it would be nice to see a metallic wrap option too

Agree totally with you Chris, I'm still undecided, I'm going to be patient now I have sold the Sapph and have money, this or a MK2 ??

This does float my boat though I have to say.

I just think they have a made a decent base for the tuners to improve on, the fact it's global is a massive selling point as the US market will have some serious products available.

I'd imagine more limited versions may run too so it's a good future for the RS

I'm really liking it, shame it's not a 3 door but we knew we'd not be seeing that. Looking forward to seeing what the tuners unlock after the previous Focus RS results.

Ford SVT and Mountune already have stuff waiting Chris There will be a 550bhp package from the 2.3 ecoboost Mustang so the focus will follow shortly

Think that's the Nitrous blue colour... Those wheels looks smaller than the other 19inch onces at the first ford launch.

Ford Ireland may have dropped a bollock and let the cat out the bag.....

http://www.ford.ie/AboutFord/GenevaMotorshow2015

Developed by the Ford Performance team, the All-New Focus RS is the latest model to carry the renowned RS badge. In fact, this is the 30th vehicle in a series that stretches back to 1967. And in keeping with the car’s reputation for pioneering design and engineering, the All-New Focus RS incorporates a range of ground-breaking technologies. For example, Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive and Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control help deliver exceptional levels of grip, handling and cornering ability. As for power, a specially tuned 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine delivers 350 PS.
