Default KA Throttle Cable Adjustment

Another thread about the Missus car.

it's a 2005 KA and it gets hammered from cold every morning, has 92k on the clock and doesn't use a drop of oil, is utterly reliable and returns 40mpg. And I think I've found out why!
Just plugged ForScan in just to have a play and at full throttle with her mat on the floor we are only getting 64% throttle. Without the mat I'm still struggling to get more than 70% throttle.

Does anyone know if there is any adjustment on the throttle body, cable or pedal?

Bailes.

May be slack you can take out the cable at the throttle body, it might have a dodgy tps.

its the same pedal box as all the small FWD cars of the era, fiesta, puma etc so has no adjustment on the pedal but there is usually an adjuster on the cable somewhere.

Looks something like this:

Cheers. I will have to have a look.

I think first things first though is to open the throttle as far as I can by hand and see what the computer says. It may be a faulty TPS.
