Default Optimum fuel cell location?

I've got a 40l fuel cell to go the the RST but where's the best place to put it. The obvious place would be recessed into the floor in the same area as the standard tank, but would it really be worth the extra work involved than to just bolt it to the floor?

I know with a RWD car the extra weight over the rear could be a good thing, but I've seen FWD cars, inc Group A RST's with the cell right at the rear of the car? Would it make that much difference?

Depends what you are going to use the car for mate but I wouldn't be mounting it in the boot

I would keep it within the confines of the roll cage and cut the floor and box it in so it's half in the car and half under

My thoughts be if it's at the rear on a track car u have it set up for cornering soon as get to half a tank the back end lightens up and u in theory need another geometry set up. I am no expert but as gaz says within cage and wheels I'd say.
For a consistency at least if get what I mean
