fitting a towbar on a new focus estate?

fitting a towbar on a new focus estate?
i have a new mk2 focus estate with reverse parking sensors.if i fit a towbar will the sensors detect the hitch everytime i reverse?also with it being a new car is there a multiplug i can plug the lighting socket into or do i have to wire it up the old fashioned way?whats the most weight i can pull on a braked trailer also?its a 1.8 tdci with ford 18" wheels and big discs all round.ta,lee

Hi if you want to make sure of your legal towing weight then just find your nearest VOSA office and give them a ring, tell them your make of car and engine size and they will tell you straight away, better being legal than someone just giving you info that might not be right..
