Default ford cd player problem e12
it worked fine in one car now just put it in another and it works but now wont play cd? shows error code e12 anyone got any ideas before i smash it

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect it. Remember you might need the radio code.

tryed that dude still no difference what pisses me off its been working fine for years then today it was removed and plugged into another car and the error shows

I'd say its been knocked on something and moved the lens out of line, you need to open the unit up and put the lens back in its place.

Honestly, I wouldn't make it up. The lens has come out of alignment and needs resetting.
