So what is she doing now? I can think of a similar situation to yours (apart from she is devoted to the kids still) and I am sure she is kicking herself for doing this, as he paid her out, she decided to sit on the money for a while, the house prices went through the roof, and now she is living in a one bed-roomed flat by herself and he is sitting pretty on a house that has increased in value by more than he paid out.
Grass is never as green on the other side as is always imagined - what-everthe scenario

unfortunatley mike we are curently in the credit crunch and after buying back the kids home and the business for more than i paid for them first time round ,it is the longer picture I now have to look at.
However my x did get on the property ladder with her new found husband fortunately they bought at the property peak so i have some consolation there.
I was very annoyed when i read the local paper and in it was the x and her wedding,the biatch could at least invited the kids and i considering we paid for this 20k wedding roflol

sounds like the kids are VERY lucky to have a dad like you.....cars,houses and women(mental ones) come and go,but your kids stick with you for life ...they won't forget what you have and will do for them for all thier days

a guy i knows wife has just left him and there two kids saying she has missed out and is "not the mother type so you have them"
he worked his ass off ,offshore to give them the good things.
imo he called her bluff a bit by saying "ok if you dont want them or me we are off to aus to start a new life!"
she said ok so he left 3 months ago and is doing fine as far as i know.
i dont know how any parent could leave there kids.

Turbo systems
the first magazine feature ever that got me into cossies was in top car where a seventeen year old had his cossie built by turbosystems,i think he learned to drive in the car which was good for 176 mph and his insurance was the same price of the car16/17/kand the guy invented the zebra stripes.[this is from memory feel free to correct everything i said it was twenty years ago

Turbosystems
The Top Car feature was done at Brunters.
I was there when it was filmed.
The 17 year olds car was a 4x4 saph and was being compared to Kevin Gribble's 2wd saph (F210KEV)
Tony was there testing a red Fiesta RS turbo and Top Car we testing an Overfinch Range Rover.
Was a really good day but sadly the block on the Turbosystems 2wd let go at about 177mph.
Turbosystems work is top class and I had all 3 of my RS's modded by them with no problems whatsoever.

I can remember the lad scabby think he use to live in red street near chesterton had some money left him by his granddad he use to have a awsome cossie not seen or heard of him for many years
