Default what colour and what paint for block?

in my s2 the engine is fryed iv got another lump to go in but it is cover with oil grease the normal stuff what the best way go get it all off. I want to make it look as new as i can i want to paint the block but not sure what type of paint and colour to use and i have a red car. i have some blue pipes and some red any pictures would help

Use a good degreaser to get all the oil & grease off, Gunk usually does the job quite well.

You could paint the block blue or maybe red, you'll need some high temperature paint in fact i think hammerite might withstand the heat

Heres my block i used a dark blue paint from a company called Frost

Red or Black Hamerite 3 or 4 coats should do the job
