coilover clunking

Default coilover clunking

I have just fitted some gaz golds to the sierra , backs went on fine apart from I had to bash the inner wing but the fronts are clunking as the springs is moving when I turn the steering wheel left to right.
any one else have this problem ??

I did have this, but can't quite remember what was the issue, I think something at the top end was tightened too much ?,

I put the bearing on top of the spring cup , then the nut then the bottom half off the strut top then fitted it onto the car then the strut top then new bolt that came with the gaz coilovers

Have you got the spacer washer that's fits at the top, is stops the bearing being over tightened!! (Somehow, sorry forgot the order it was in).
I think I had this missing initially.

If unsure speak to GAZ, there are instructions on where it goes.

there was no spacer washer , al ring gaz before the weekend
