Hi all,

I'm currently scratching my head as to whether it is possible to have both central locking and an electric boot release on my A reg XR4i?

My car has the electric boot release, I have fitted an aftermarket central locking kit to the doors and wired in the remote boot release no problem, however, on dismantling the tailgate lock mechanism, I can't see an easy way of adding an actuator/solenoid to lock and unlock the tailgate from the fob?

Do the Cossie 3 doors that came with central locking as standard ever have an electric boot release too, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

One key fits all on my car, so I dont really want to go down the road of mixing and matching MK2 sierra parts.
