Yes got a T5 box tucked away. But i cant even fit that or the MT75 as apparantly my shell is an early one with a smaller gearbox tunnel so only a type9 fits

Not happy but gonna have to live with it for a while

Glad the superleggera's on mine are getting some likes! as Wes said they're a bit hit & miss, I personally like them & think they suit the car. The khans will make a nice difference to your saff mate, they came up better than expected! Just briefly going through your thread your saff has come such a long way, well done bud.

Want to part with it? No idea if it'll ever work in a cossie, but would be a nice experiment. I think somebody in Finland managed to do it anyway, so there's someone who I can ask for help at least.

Wheels fit surprisingly well btw, and the engine was made for the Sierra. I'd do the same if I still had my XR4x4, and a garage, and as much patience

Ha, I wish I could, but as I'm still looking for a grad job I'm way too broke to travel. I want to make a proper road trip some summer, the ring, alpine roads, and come visit the shops in UK I've bought go-fast bits from...probably time it so I could meet as many enthusiasts over there as I can, in some car show or another. Pm your paypal or bank info and I'll send my address your way with the money.

Well then i made it to classic ford but my car never, on route (about 3miles in) i came to a stop outside another ford fans house who was preping his car to leave (i was letting a bus out of a side turning) the guy gave me the thumbs up so i launched it and "BANG" clung clung, clung clung, bang bang! I thought shit i've killed my diff pulled over to access situation decided to crawl home and load everything into my fez but then realised car wouldnt move at all so after having a look realised id sheared my drive shaft cv joint! Long story short called a recovery and my mrs to come wait with car and keys transfered all my stuff into Asha1 saph and we continued to classic ford had epic weekend then today had booked off work so up early and stripped driveshaftoff car with my mate Dave to see the extent of the damage, well here it is......... New cv kits ordered!

Dont worry we got down and dirty and on it Saturday night few hours after it happened, torque is what happened bud and cv shit itself it wasnt a dry joint it did not have a damaged gator and was fully packed with grease but bud all i care about is that its only a cv and not the diff!

What diff you got in there? 7" or 7.5"?

Im sure the 7.5" will be fine for a standard boa engine - i never broke one in my 400bhp cossie but then that did spin the wheels at every given opportunity

7.5" spipper bud not the bhp that kills them ur saph could of been 800bhp its the torque that kills them and the boa especially mine has plenty of it, plus my rear ends been fucked about with so wheels sit flat on launch where as most camber so not all the thre grips, i recon had mine been standard the cv would not of shit itself lol
