99 200 block
I have one of these bought before we all knew about the failures question is are they any stronger than a 205 for around 400hp?? And anyone else running one?? Any feed back appriated

General feel is they are fine at that power level.
I've also been told that if power level is slowly raised over a period of time, they seem to be ok! Ade is running 700hp on a 99 block

More non 200 blocks have failed so they are absolutely fine mate

some people say are strong some not ..but the way to make it is important .bad programm but interiors and etc

ade young has one with almost 700bhp so you have nothing to worry about

As said a few have failed but tbh i think it was the unknown of the 99 block to why they got the blame..
There has been just as many failures the same on a 200 block so i wouldnt worry mate,theres plenty 99 blocks doing fine
