Default 2wd Coolant hose Routing?

Does it matter which way round the coolant hoses are fitted on the oil filter heat exchanger? Also does it matter which way round the heater hoses are fitted to the bulkhead?

If you buy a kit the pipes dictate where they should fit

As far as i'm aware when doing mine with a kit from AS

Looking at the oil modine the

left pipe - back of head (next to blue sensor)
right pipe - bottom pipe on bulkhead
top pipe on bulkhead - metal pipe that runs along the head

Thanks for reply. The kit i have bought is telling me exactly what you've said and the reason i asked is that the hoses i took off were the opposite way. Maybe the previous owner fitted them the wrong way when he replaced the engine after painting the car
