Hello all i have been trying to get some inner cv boots for the front of my sapph and having grief getting genuine ford ones , i know the part number for them is 1627950 and the escos ones are 6672258 , now what i need to know is if they fit ok cos you cant buy the 1627950 any more and dont want to fit non oe ones cos they dont last in my experience

If anyone has done this let me know if its ok.

I would of thought they were the same but it seems weird having 2 different part numbers.

Big problems with these parts and I have been chasing trying to find originals with not much luck, even with my contacts abroad the problem is the part number for the 4x4 saph inner boots now gets you an escort cosworth one which is no good, the saph one is sort of a tall triangular in shape where as the escort cossie one is more of a dumpy mushroom shape

best thing Tone is to get a set of direct replacement ones from Mr Matt Lewis (Matt lewis Motorsport)
