You will also need the wiring loom from a cossie too.

sell the engine, sell the car, and buy a cossie.
will work out far too expensive to build one from scratch by the time you have sourced all the other bits, and will be worth less when done, unless you are particuarly attatched to the car?

As sad mate i tried to do it myself and realised that i had spent far to much so i sold it all and bought a real one. Plus if you insure a twincam with a cossie engine properly its a smidge dearer.

If you are gonna do it, buy one that has been smashed up. Its not just all the big things its the little things that cost the most money. Trust me i have been there.

And i was attached to my car in a big way due to the fact i had owned it for many years and done loads to the car infact it was one of the best replica's i had ever seen.

ots not that hard and you can get all the parts you need cheap enough if you wait for people to break their cars.

Im putting a cossie YB in my saph which is a twincam. Im rather attached to it which is why im doing it. However with all the money im spending i could have bought a nice genuine saph cossie, but then it wont be at the power level im goin for anyway

I personally dont give a fook about what it says on the logbook.

Insurance is not as bad either as people make out - ring Paul @ NeedToInsure as ive got all mine thru them with all mods declared for only 30 quid more than what elephant wanted to insure my sierra 2.0i Ghia

You will need a cossie fuel tank too, fuel pump and filter too as twincam is internal pump.

If the shell on your car is mint then do it as most cossie shells are probably fucked and full of filler.
