hi any one know this moonstone blue 3dr its d332 ftr its a shell looks clean enought had a rear qtr and wings its also had a claim on the vcar belived to have been stolen and recovered wonder if its a know car cheers

hi mate i know you asked this around a year ago but yes i know this 3 dr ive bought it a couple of months ago from a guy in milton keynes, im just getting everything together to rebuild it i know very little of its history apart from the receipts etc that came with it but by chance i was looking through some of my old fast ford mags and found it in the first cosworth special magazine as part of a 3dr buying guide and recognised the number plate could you please give me any info on it ie was it for sale and where and how much or any other info you remember would be great cheers elt

Hi yes this was a bare shell (with loads of odds and ends and rubbish left in it ) it was for sale in Bristol by a guy that had a track 3dr that was hit in the qtr so he bought this to reshell it into but then decided to break both (I bought some of the bits ) and put the engine into his escort mk1 it seemed really good but as I want one to restore the vcar bit put me off as when you sell it's always a sore point .it was up for £1000 but had been on eBay and various sites for £1200 and seemed to be hanging around hope this helps how much did you but it for I should have bought it hope you return it to its former glory start a restoration thread also what does it look like now as the guy he sold it to was going to restore it ( it also had the rear suspension/ tank and fuel pump etc on it)
