Default Parts on a Sunday

Is there anywhere in London or Birmingham that has a open ford parts counter on Saturday afternoon or weekends?

Or have any of you got a bright idea how I can cheer up my weekend?

I was fitting a new thermostat to a 2.0L DOHC sierra, and on my first attempt to put it all back together I managed to shatter the bit the smaller house connects to. So off I trundled to a breakers and got a second hand one.

This time doing it up I managed to crack the hosuing by a mounting bolt. I am not having a good day. So I really want to try with a new part, but is there such a thing as ford parts on a Sunday?

Or has anyone got any genius idea?
