mileage isnt really a factor, it seems to be down to how theyre maintained. my 2 lady owner, fsh 2002 puma is on 77k and need a new engine because of crank walk. the puma my mates just bought is on 120+ and has no history, but the engine is sweet as a nut.
and it doesnt matter how many miles theyve gone, the arches will still be rusty

I bought a puma Ł300 no service history 125k goes like a train would trust it to go anywhere.
Not a spot of rust on the arches. I removed rear liners and covered them in waste oil, job done!
All id say is service it straight away and it should be fine!
