Beeping indicators?
My st170 has started to beep (sounds like it's coming from rear) when indicating left or right. It seems to stop or at least fade when I press the brake pedal. I've checked the lights and they are working. There are no warning lights either and it doesn't have a tow bar fitted. Any ideas on what it is and how to stop it?

Not entirely sane
It sounds like it has the wiring for a previous tow bar fitted and has a poor earth. The electrics think the trailer is attached and make the towing relay beep. Have a look behind the bumper and in the boot area for unexpected wiring.

There does seem to be a lot of wires there now I've looked and it would explain the knackered rear springs.
Question now is how to stop it?

Cheers. Well that was easy! I was worried it might stop the indicators working if I fa f fed about so I just dismantled the beeper (once I found it in the mess of wires) so it doesn't work anymore. Now there's no beeping and indicators still work.
