Ford Focus MK2 Bonnet Lock Damaged
Hi,
I am hoping someone can assist me..
it seems like someone has tried to force my bonnet open and damaged the lock barrel in the process, my key wont even fit into the barrel!!
so a few questions.
1, How can i open my bonnet without the key working?
2, How can i get this fixed worse case i dont mind having to have a separate key for bonnet
I hope someone can assist with this.
Regards
Chris

jack up the front end, remove the under tray and the front trim pannel so you can get your hand right up to the back of the latch and remove the two 10mm bolts that secure the latch, then you will be able to lift the bonnet with the latch attached but you have to be abit agressive with it so it busts through the trim ( usually you dont need to replace this after but i depends where it breaks, you can tidy it up but thats down to your preference). then go to ford and get a new barrel made up to match your key and build it all up. it can be abit fidley but its not to bad, i used to do loads when i worked at ford. good luck
