Default Mk 1 Focus Knocking From Rear Suspension

My 2002 Focus has only covered 49,500 but it has an annoying knock from the rear passengers side when going over minor bumps. I replaced the rear anti roll bar links and the exhaust appears to be fine. I have also been messing about with the tailgate latch position but I am convinced that this is not the issue. Are there any suspension parts that these cars are prone to failure please?

Cheers Minder I will take a look at this. It just passed an MOT a few weeks ago, but I guess they could of missed that if it is not immediately visable. I have had one snapped on the front of another Focus I had. I will check it out.

The control blade bush (located in front of the real wheel near sill) is a common one as well.

Hi the most common fault for the rear knocking is the trailing blade bush the arm that goes from the underbody to the drum the bush blows out causing the knocking you can buy the tool to press them in and out easy job takes about half hour each side any questions just email and I'll try to help best I can
