Dashboard lights and inside lighting don't work
hi
I have some problems with the dashboard light on all buttons and counters, as well as the light inside doesn't turn on when I open the door of the car. So it's realy dark in the car at night. It's even hard to see what speed you're driving at when there is no light on the road.
I heard it could be a problem with the GEM-module. But I have no idea where to look for this. I have a Ford Focus 1.8 tddi building year 2001 and bought it at start 2002. Is it somewhere below the steer at drivers seat. Close to the place of the fusebox perhaps ?
Best regards

Not yet, I plan for looking to it all this weekend. But that GEM-module is close to those fuses ? Or totally somewhere else ? So if it aren't the fuses I can look to the rest as well.

Yes thats the thing that come to my mind (Generic Electronics Module), yes it's down by the drivers kick trim panel as is the ECU.
First as said check the obvious fuses first, the GEM may have a glitch as that can be resolved by reflashing it, I.E Non hardware error.
