This has got my attention and like someone on here I am also running KE with an MF-II 5th Injector with good results. However it does idle high but I do plan to cure this.
In the pipeline I was considering getting an EFI manifold or a modified KE-Jetronic manifold and going with a standalone ECU from the likes of Emerald or Omex (both friends of mine have used these with great results). They both seem to cater for my needs as well.
I have to ask though:
1) Can this ECU control the:
- cooling fans
- chargecooler pump; I am running a Pace chargecooler
- boost control - I know a few ECUs can do this via a solenoid like many EBCs on the market.
2) What on the car would be modified beyond the point of no return. While it would seem nuts to keep the stock stuff it would be nice to have some stuff to take the car back to stock, be it for me or a potential buyer. I guess damage limition and reversal to stock is what I am after.
