Hmm, so when you say you asked for it to hold and not drop as RPM increased how do you think he achieved that?
A stock T3 for example would drop as it struggles to flow at high RPM but a .48/55 T3 would hold without problem... The Amal duty would need to adjust dynamically based on the target boost.

BTW I'm genuinely interested in how it was achieved and not just nit picking at your posts in case you wondered lol

EDIT: Or do you mean it literally had a set duty throughout the RPM range rather than one that decreased with RPM and that was the only difference?

Mad Tony has built many a fast RST out of that garage. He was into the ZVH scene very early on with a very fast black FRST and also a 2.1 yellow pickup. Both seriously rapid cars in the day. So he does know how to do it. But sadly I think that's reserved for people who know him as I once took my xr2 there for a tune and jet change on the carb and his service was pathetically poor with very similar excuses/bull mentioned in this thread. He has rollers but fuck knows what for. I asked for a power run so we knew if it had done anything and he just turned round and said it feels like 100bhp to me!! Can't say I'd recommend him
