Hey all. I hear from almost everyone I talk to that the trannies are only good for about 350hp but I see a lot of you have more than that. do you lunch trannies? How do you keep them together? Im afraid to go with more hp on my car because I dont want eat gearboxes.

the std gearox and diffs can be uprated by fitting higher spec internals, these cost a fair bit though unfortunately

depends how u drive m8
i got 430ish bhp with a T4 and my box is fine
but i never nail 1st do launches etc

even on big boost , the 3rd gear synchro ok?

The synchro ain't a problem. It has nothing to do withpower. 3rd gear wheel and bearing it's a lot more problem. I was always told that at real 400+ it's a matter of putting pedal to the metal in 3rd.
