pod filter
hello i would like to fit a pod filter to my big turbo escort cosworth. At the moment it has the original airbox type filter, i have noticed there are a couple of extra small tubes that go to it, what are these for, and what do i do with them if i put a pod filter on? many thanks
also can you put up a couple of pics of your pod filters so i can get an idea of what i need to do.

If you cannot get the correct filter with the attachments on it...ie;
6mm vacuum, 16mm breather
then you will have to do the following.
Leave the breather (16mm) open, but put a small crank case breather filter on it. Some people cut this pipe right back level with the cam cover, and put the filter on there.
Leave the vacuum (6mm) pipe open too, but just hide it under the bonnet somewhere if it cannot be plumbed back into the air filter hose or filter itself.
