Default brake help

WE have owned an rs1600i from nearly new but the brakes have never been the best. Is there anything we can do? but still keeping the standard setup.

You can try fitting some uprated discs and pads plus replacing the bushes in the brake cross linkage also helps

Where the RSi was converted to RHD for the UK market, there is a bar running from your brake pedal across the bulkhead to the servo on the left side of the engine bay, over time the plastic bushes get worn and sloppy

2wd cossie brakes do fit with the right conversion brackets, as do 4x4 calipers, i have gone for S2 Turbo calipers and 2wd cossie discs
