Did you try the egr valve mate? Common on these are they are famously hard to start when run dry

To be honest I haven't done much with it to be honest mate. Now I've got well into my Cossie resto it probably won't end up getting done for ages if it stays with me so I thought someone else might like to have a go. It really is a very tidy car for it's year, and low miles too.
