1989 Escort RS Turbo New Pics(SOLD)
I have been using this car for the past 6 months whilst doing work on my focus rs, the car has been in the family for the last 6 years. Im regrettably selling it now as i no longer have the space or need for it.
It is a 1989 in radiant red, spec is as follows:
Engine is a 2.1zvh using vauxhall xe pistons, brand new oil pump, water pump, tensioner etc... head is standard bar a kent cams cv34 cam with adjustable vernier dialled in to the correct settings, ap 4 paddle clutch, stage 3 t3 turbo, full mongoose stainless exhaust system with 3" outwardly rolled tailpipe, pipercross cone filter, airtec alloy rad and FMIC with twin fans wired on a seperate loom and relay, full samcos througout, bailey oil breather, magnecor leads, bailey DV26, car was dynoed at Jamsport with print out to prove at 198BHP we were unable to get anymore power due to a slipping clutch hence the ap 4 paddle replacement. The car is easily over 200BHP and reliable.
Car is lowered all round on gmax suspension and 35mm lowering springs.
Inside the car boast a very clean 90 spec interior, with a brand new 4 spoke RS accessory wheel, Car also has a 2bar boost gauge in place of the fuel computer. Original ford rubber mats, no silly parcel shelves or cut out for big speakers inside it is original and mint, only downside being very slight wear to the drivers seat but im in the process of sourcing another which will be done this weekend i hope.
Exterior wise the car is completely original it has had a slight modifcation done to the front bumper to aid airflow but thats it, still has all of its original lights and no tints or clear indicators to be seen. The alloys have been fully refurbished being painted gloss black with a red pin stripe, 2 front tyres are new and rears are 12 montsh old.
There is no rot in the car all the usual areas are rust free!!!
I have folders full of history for this car i am the 3rd owner! how many rs cars can say that my focus rs is 15 years younger and has had double!
I have reciepts for everything that has been added to the car throughout its life amounting to well over 15k i even have the original bill of sale and the original HP agreement.
Car is fully HPI clear and has tax and MOT until the end of october.
First to see will buy.
Car is priced to sell at £3295 OVNO.
