HELP!!! 18x8 comps on 2wd saph fitment

Hi, just bought a nice set of comps in 18x8 et39 and the question is will they fit ok with 215/35 18 tyres and would i need any type of spacer as I've seen that the odder most people run is 33-35. Also what tyres would people recommend for road use? Thanks

Et39 seems a high ET...what is the standard saph wheel offset?

From what I have found from previous posts it's et40

I run 18x8 Comps on my 4x4 Sapphire Cosworth, et 35, 215/35/18 tyres

Different ET on 4x4 and 2wd.

Just put mk1 focus 8x18 alloys on my 2wd to clear the brakes running 215/35/18 tyres, offset is 42 or something, fit fine plenty of clearance but might need arches rolling on the front.
I use toyo proxes T1R tyres, have for years, good value too

Did you use spacers with the focus rs wheels?

I run 8x18 ET33 with sleight rolled arches and 225/35 -18 on my 88 Sapp. Cos.
