17x8 et38 tyre size

What is the biggest tyre size i can put on a 17x8 et38 rim to fit on a saph running coilovers?

I have 215/40 all round, but the sizes need to be the same front and rear as it's a 4x4. On a rwd I think you can fit 235/40 to the rear.

Mines rwd so i be ok to run 235/40/17 on my rear wheels.Will i get any clearence issues?

Really depends on your arches,if rolled etc. Also your front coilover springs/platform.

I've run 235/40 17 all round on et32, with rolled arches and I had to get short 6" long front springs so the spring platform was above the tyre, because the tyre was hard up against the platform with longer springs.
