Question mk5 Fiesta wheels on a mk6?

Greetings.

My missus has a 2008 Fiesta Zetec. She's thinking of buying a mk6 Fiesta (probably 2011/2012 model) but she wants to keep the alloys from the old car.

Will the wheels from a mk5 fit on a mk6? I know they're both 4-stud but is the spacing the same?

They'll both be 4 x 108 PCD so they'll fit onto the hub.
Might be a difference in offset, affecting how the wheel fits in the arch, but I can't see it being drastic

mk5 offset pokes out a tad more fitted on a mk6 but will still work

the mk6 starts at 2002 to 2005
then the mk6.5 went from 2005 to 2008
before the final face lift mk 6.75 in 2008

then the mk7 came along in 2008/9 and it's had a facelift in 2011 or so and then another one in 2012 and then again in 2014 and yet another in 2015

the mk4.5 is what you are refering to as the mk5 and those rims certainly don't fit without spacers etc

the later ones though have an offset of 51 or so, which means you simply need to find the offset of the car you are thinking of getting to see if they are interchangable

it's 47.5 so it MIGHT but then again it might NOT

he said wheels from a mk5 onto a mk6 dojj you wont need spacers as they sit out a tad further not in, but from a mk6 etc onto a mk5 you would

i've got a mk5 and putting mk6 wheels on them doesn't work as they didn't fit on the rears as they hit the rear struts and the fronts rubbed
