I agree. There's one round my way in the same colour with the same wheels. You'd have to look twice to realise it's an RS.

The only rs that's recognisable instantly are the nitrous blue cars, the rest look like st's or titaniums and don't even make you look twice.

The standard wheels are Ronal according to the Ford service training manual

I prefer the look of the optional forged ones though, and they'll be a lot easier to clean. A few people have had the forged repainted in chrome silver and they look quite good.

I have to agree with you as it was only the RS badge on the back that made me realise it was a new Focus RS.
At last years Simply Ford day at Beaulieu there was a similar new Focus Rs parked just near me and he hardly had anyone looking at his all day. My Saff had loads of people looking at it and taking photos and asking me questions.

Some people dont want their high performance car to stick out like a sore thumb, they are contented with the capability of the car, and have no desire to try and impress anyone else......
Interesting thought !

Thats what I like with my Saff, nothing on the outside to give any idea of what its capable of but the engine bay does attract attention when I am at a show. Not just plastic covers like so many new cars.

I sold my mk3 after 6 months as I found it stood out too much! Always had folk asking about it and I wanted something more discreet instead.

So what did you swap it for which is more discreet?
