To say Im pleased is a understatement as I have been pushing lewis for a while to get his finger out and once Sir Sinbad of Nottingham was in on the case we all knew this meet had a fighting chance, and so was the case well done guys and a hearty thanks to the rsoc local groups especially Captain Sinbad who co'ordinated all along with passionford to make this day a true success

Well i think one more meet might go down ok, like i said last night if we can keep it ticking over untill the season starts again we will be laughing mate.........
The true test is getting people to come back when there is no promis of pf being there but given the general good feeling and buzzing vibe i have a feeling we have started a good thing Lewis

well done lewis for sorting this meet out, i thought it was a good turnout with some great people, the drive home was fun too, trying to catch bungle in his st24 lol

Lewis meets should be kept running as its not about numbers at end of the day its stability and word of mouth knowing the meets are regular, most of the garage queen owners have daily runners and would enjoy a run out and a chat, speak to sinbad as he knows exactly what I mean,

big thanks to everyone that came and to lewis for setting it in motion.dale (landlord) was well chuffed and said everyones welcome to have it as a regular meet and he will get some food on next time

Lewis if you get 5-10 cars through the winter months, it will still keep the meet alive and generate interest. We get 30+ cars in the Summer and 10+ in the Winter but the same number of people as they come in daily smokers.
Obviously your set up is slightly different so needs to be viewed different. If you can sustain a meet with local cars during the quite times then any extra during the busy periods is a bonus.
Every two months during the winter and every month during the Summer could be an option, just be careful with it being a residential road as you will always get one home owner moan
The main thing is be friendly and welcoming which I think you have got down to a tee mate
