tappety S1 turbo after oil change?
a friend from work asked me this and i thought I'd ask the experts..
Got a mildly tuned S1 been running fine sounds lovely, just done an oil change, fully synthetic 15/50 oil (i think) rolled her back off the drive and started it up, sounds really rough and tappety?
Cant describe it as i havent heard it but thought id ask as its his pride and joy and hes almost in tears

sounds ridiculous i know but he hasnt done anything silly like....FORGOTTEN to put a new filter on or tighten it up???
not the best engines in the world a good long idle sometimes works, get the oil back into those crappy hydraulic lifters they have
