Cossie didn't start first time yesterday, started second go. Done it again later on and then I noticed that my rev counter needle was pointing at my ABS light!!!! I definetely haven't been anywhere near 10,000 rpm!!!!

It's now skipped round to behind the needle stop!!!!

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiya,

just as a suggestion as i had speedo needle play silly with me before and it came down the physical worm gear in the rear of the dash, so after opening the back of the dash up and prodding it was fine. If the needle doesnt move atall (10k or behind the stop it sounds like a physical thing as opposed to the electrics side of thing. But not sure if it may be that simple as the rev' works as a volt meter it may be getting to much power from an unknown source.

it's still there, on the wrong side of the stop!!! It's gone right round!!

 

If you pull out the trip reset and get a small wire you can just push it back over - done this on mine a couple of times.
