Right my s2 has just started developing new and strange issues. When u go to start it u turn the key once and nothing happens turn it twice u here the amal valve click in engine bay and the fuel pump primes correctly and goes off.
HOWEVER
You get no battery lights or any of the lights that run across the top of the clocks. The only thing that does work in the clocks are the headlight settings and the clocks will glow up when u put your headlights on, but nothing else works.
Also the car will be running and then out of the blue it will just switch off, this started since the display in the clocks messed up. Also my rev counter don't work, but i think this may have something to do with the white dials fitted on my rev counter.
any ideas
cheeRS in advance peeps

nah, not yet geez
the clocks work fine checked them in another s2, right i have both the plugs that go on the back of the clocks, how do i check if they have power?
if the 3rd green wire which on my white plug is coloured brown and green is the main live, can i just run another wire from the back of my ignition switch to the white plug and join it as the new 3rd wire, or the new main live?
how are all the other wires earthed ? if there is a main earth for the clocks i could try earthing it again somewhere.
could it be the ecu at fault, or is this highly unlikely?
cheers peeps
