Default SU HIF44E 2.0ltr mg montego turbo carb

Hi everyone this is a long shot but does anyone have or know of anybody that has an su hif44e carb from a 2.0ltr montego? I would like two of them for a build I'm doing as i have changed my approach! Any help welcome thanks.

I will have a look at that in a min. I did see that last night as it happens I'm wondering if you can run any carb turbo'd. As my old mk1 ran a su hif44e carb from a 2.0ltr montego and went like stink. Wouldn't mind doing it but using one carb per 2 cylinders

Depending on power output, maybe no point in two carbs and more hassle to setup.

And n/a carbs can be used or modified to a degree, but the proper turbo'd version is better as the dashpot chamber has a proper seal on it.

Burlen do a lot of SU stuff, but I'd doubt there is much support for the turbo carb

But Metro, Maestro, Montego turbo, all carbs are usable.

Thank you mate will have a look at that tomorrow. When I ran one on my mk1 fez it was 253bhp and 273ftlb
