Default Lost the keys to my s1 rs turbo 😒

Like an complete bellend iv lost the keys to my s1 rs turbo searched for days now but cant find them! lucky I have a spare alarm fob so getting into the car isn't a problem.

can anyone tell me if there is any way of removing the ignition barrel without the key and destroying the steering column? The steering lock is engaged so am I right in thinking I can't remover the steering wheel? Any tips I'd be very grateful

Thanks in advance

I think some locksmiths are able to make you a new key from say one of the door locks/boot lock? Just ring a couple and ask them if its possible, its got to be easier than smashing hell out the steering lock then having to fix that again later.

Good luck.

Unfortunately that wont help me, both front doors have been delocked and the boot lock uses a different key to the ignition barrel 😂 but thanks for the advice

Either take the steering column to a locksmith

Or get a mobile locksmith out.

Or try some kids down the street, they'll have it runningin 30 seconds
