St170 rod c20let pistons in a blacktop
Hi guys, iv been away from the car seen for a long time, but I've got the bug again.
So I have started building a blacktop turbo.
I have C20LET pistons and I can get hold of some ST170 forged H beam rods at a great price. My worry is the clearance with valves.
If the ST170 rods and pistons can go in a blacktop ok should the same principle apply with the setup I am planning on. I am aware the piston length of the blacktop rods are 140mm and the st170 are 146mm Centre to centre and that's my main worry about the clearance issues.
I have been doing my research and I cant seem to find anything on this. Any help will be appreciated links ECT.
Thanks Dean
