MK1 Focus ST170 Clutch Advice
Hey guys
I have recently bought a 2004 Ford Focus ST170 that is in need of a new clutch and flywheel. Its an 05/2004 Model. After some research I have found a LUK 07175 clutch kit which includes the flywheel. These seem to be a lot cheaper than other options. My issue is it generally states these are for 03/2004 and older models.
I have found a Sach clutch kit but it double the price. The specs seems to be identical:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-2004-F...IAAOSwIhtanKY0
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Clutch-...5.c10#viTabs_0
Does anyone know if I can use the LUK 07175 on my 05/2004 Model, and what the differences might be with the clutch?
Any help hugely appreciated.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
They changed the diameter of the clutch and fly' and upped it from 230mm to 240mm.
As a full package they are interchangeable. If the car is a keeper look at the ttv/ helix setup. If your tuning it, the same.

As above I just fitted a luk clutch 240mm to mine cost 446 on eBay.
Its a pig of a job and you will need a 22mm clutch alignment tool and a fitting tool to compress pressure plate before tighening...
IF YOU DON'T YOU WILL HAVE NO CLUTCH.....
Spray all suspension pinch bolts with WD as they usually seize along with the drive shaft splines.
Good luck or better still pay a garage to do it I would next time and I am in the trade....
