Default Cosworth bore clearance wiseco pistons

Hello,

I have a set of very lightly used wiseco forged pistons Im going to use in my YB build. The machine shop has asked for the bore to piston clearance,
I've asked a few people and have been told to run 5 thou, does this seem right?

Im not worried about piston slap as the car is mainly to be used on track

Many thanks!

The clearances should be on there website or email them. What they give is a recommended size and it’s down to the engine builder to go with what he wants.
5thou is very large imo but I don’t use them pistons anyway so I am not the right person to ask.
