I would use a really good 5w-40, like fuchs Pro S, Motul 300V or Red Line.

Ford themselves recommend this:

Castrol EDGE Professional A3 0W-40, specifically tested by the Focus RS engine developers, meets the requirements of this uniquely tuned engine. This gives Ford Focus RS drivers the optimum level of protection and performance.

Castrol EDGE Professional A3 0W-40 is the sole recommendation for all new Ford Focus RS cars.

Hi

Sorry, had a mental lapse then, yes it should be a 0w-40 rather than 5w-30.

Those are all good options, but the Motul 300v is the best one.

Cheers

Tim
