lambda sensor fitment

I'm about to fit a lambda sensor boss to my cossy. is there a proper place to fit it?
how far on the down pipe?

Is it for a wideband? Normally in the instructions it will tell you a minimum distance from the manifold/head or turbo.

anyone?

Anywhere on the downpipe should be fine. Make sure you mount it so that the sensor points at least slightly downwards to the tip. They don't like sitting in condensed exhaust gasses.
