2004 fiesta 1.4 tdci - eac fail - fault p0193. Help!!!
Hello, my mum has a 2004 fiesta 1.4 tdci, the eac fail light started to flash the other day and the car started to cut out at low revs (reversing and starting off), she got it home and the next day eac fail is on permanently and is in limp home mode revs capped at just under 3000 rpm, had the fault codes read and came back with p0193 (fuel pressure sensor circuit high input, checked the wires going to the sensor had 4.7 volts on one wire and the other two were earths with ignition on engine off and the same with the car idling and raised to around 2500 rpm, so checked and cleaned obvious connections (both sensors on the pump, frp sensor connection, and ecu connections), no joy with them fault wont erase at all, so changed the fuel rail pressure sensor with a new one and still exactly the same.
If anybody can help with any suggestions it would be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I have seen these with poor connection on the large circular connector that's under the air filter box, it has a lift-up catch on it to lock the terminals in place.
Disconnect and re-connect it.
Also seen the wires to the FRP sensor get melted on the EGR valve on the corner of the engine.

Thank you GVK, I will double check the frp wiring for damage, I forgot to mention I checked the circular multiplug for and dirt/corroded connections both ends looked fine but cleaned anyway.

Sorry for the late update, but I managed to fix this problem, it was a broken wire. It was the power feed wire that comes from the ecu and goes up to the round multiplug next to the fuel filter it had rubbed through about 5-6 inches from the plug. Thanks to GVK for the advice.
