Mk1 Focus RS on the dyno problem...
Car has -
Miltek sports cat
scorpion stainless exhaust
K&N Gen 2
Tubular manifold
msd coilpack and leads
recirculation valve
bluefin
So i was expecting between 260-300bhp or somewhere there abouts.
Anyway was fine up to 3500-4000rpm and the fuel was going mad with afr's of under 10 and was making 189bhp at 1 bar of boost on the dyno but wouldn't make any power after 3500rpm as it was far too rich (holding back).
Am i right in thinking that it's either the MAF sensor or the lambda sensor ?
I've heard that if the lambda sensor is faulty its brings the EML on, on the dash? The light hasn't come on at all.
To my knowledge these would control the fueling ? Also if i want to run more than a bar of boost can i just set more pre load on the standard actuator or is it better to go for a forge actuator ?
