500+bhp escos build help GTX3076r vs GTX3076 ???
Im in the process of building a 500+bhp escos and was looking for some advice
ive gone from owning a mitsubishi evo @ 600bhp to now owning a escos big turbo and want to get big power out of it.
I was wondering what sort of internals, turbo, clutch etc you reccomend ?
a good friend of mine is running a GTX3076r turbo set up on his car but i didnt know if there are any better on the market at the mo ?
Any help would be greatly recieved
cheers

Is it totally standard now?
How much is big bhp? How deep are your pockets? Are you converting to rwd?
From what I've read the BW EFR turbo range are the way you want to go, maybe a 7670 external gate on a linered block/CP pistons/arrow long rods and arrow crank. Send the head to Neil Roper.
I think id be asking also what do you want to use it for?
Best advice is to speak to the guys that have built a few.

basically the car is a 4x4 big turbo escos
mods on it are the ones that cam ewith the car which consist of
gas flowed head
garrett t35 with 360 thrust bearings and cut back blades
-31 actuator
3bar map sensor
light blue injectors
high pressure fuel pump
rs500 intercooler
s/s decatted exhaust
JR cone filter
power wise iam looking at 500 or just over ....not "BIG BIG" power but enough

Ask me a question!

You would need a well spec'd top end with cams and 26mm ports.
bottom end is a low comp piston and rod setup around 7.8:1
oil jets 10 studs core plug retainers decent sump and breather
Using a decent turbo like the gtx or gt series even the bw with around an 80a/r housing is the basis for what you want.
head i would use cnc heads Rick wood.
block machining pete mason.
Balancing in Heybridge
Assemble using decent gaskets and motorsport bearings.
Burtonpower have new small core 205 blocks with billit main caps all machined with studs pump core plugs etc etc all done at a very reasonable price.
Nothing that hasnt been done for many years by lots of people and tuners.
Not many secrets or unknown stuff now days.
