ghiax inlet manifold to a st200
bought a st200 manifold so i thought der to put on my ghia x v6 its exactly the same as my original one,or am i missing something. throttle body seems the same, but the lower inlet was different with smaller bores, well its all been put on and have significant improvement in acceleration, which is what i wanted, turn traction control off foot down it flys. The things still niggling me lots off different advice whos right,do i need k&n filter put on,someone mentioned green injectors, some say leave it as it is,never seem to get same advice all different.

The upper and lower inlet manifolds are different on the 200, although all the late MK2 V6's and MK3 V6's, all had the bigger the lower inlet manifold fitted as standard. You can fit the upper inlet manifold as you have with no issue, and it will be an improvement, but you don't 'need' all the other improvements from the 200, but obviously they were designed to work together for the gains over the standard V6, so fitting everything is the way to get the best gains. Plenty of people have fitted just the upper inlet manifold to the standard V6.
