Fiesta mk5 ZT OFAB?
Iv got a fiesta mk5 and iv also got a 1.8 zetec turbo engine running on OFAB management. Would this work in my fiesta as is? Iv already got the engine mount and exhaust in the car ready.

At current it's a bit of a bodge it's the standard fiesta mount modded to move the engine back and long bolts and spacers to be the right height. This is just to get it running and il take it to a friend to cut and weld the focus mount in

Truth is I haven't actually got the turbod Zetec yet. I have got a 2l in at the minute but am buying the turbod one this week. Would it be OFAB just running the engine spliced Into a standard zetec ecu? OFAB can't run everything can it?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I doubt it will pass a genuine mot test though, you really want something that runs closed loop lambda control so you can add a decent sports cat and not have any hassle at mot time

I'm ok for mot my mate turns a blind eye to emissions. Would the OFAB be ok running the complete engine? I thought for some reason OFAB was only used to run the actual engine loom.

Not Crazy, just Unwell
Ofab Ecu will run the engine and relevant sensors but if it's running a VSS and not a cable you'll have to splice into the existing ecu to tap the speedometer and tacho etc iirc
