Anyone seen this before on a fezz

Anyone seen this before ?

I uprated my fuel pump 4 months ago with a Sitec one and fitted it using the original piece of rubber hose it comes with.

Bear in mind ive only done 100 miles since fitting it as well

It had been sat around fitted in my tank for a month or 2 but there was defo not enough fuel in there to cover the whole bit of pipe

Could of wiped out my engine

I bought it off Motorsport Developments , not that it there fault BTW .

Im thinking back pressure could of caused it or a very quick deterioration when it had been in fuel when i filled up the tank over the last week , but very doubtfull ???? STRANGE !!!!

Lucky ive got an inline fuel pressure gauge as i would of been sratching my head big time when the engine cut out. ( had to get towed home BTW ) very embarrasing.

Yea at the expense of braking down on the same hill that claimed my rod through the
block couple years back. Lol.
