is there a difference dimensionally between 2wd and 4wd front subframes?
i know that one is alloy and one is steel, but could you use a 4wd subframe with 2wd tca's and hubs? i have a 4wd subframe and rack but want to go 2wd and i already have the hubs and tca's. i am thinking that the 4wd subframe is wider hence why the wheels have a different offset.

A guy I know tried to do what your thinking and had a few problems one being the rack didn't have enough adjustment to sort the tracking out . That was 4wd subframe and rack with 2wd hubs etc. hth
